In with the old, out with the new

The York restaurant landscape seems like it is ever changing.

This last week saw its ups and its downs as we learned more about the opening of Maewyn's and the closing of Agrodolce.

We learned Tuesday that the Harp & Fiddle, the sorely missed Irish bar that closed in 2009, will reopen soon under the name Maewyn's. Their slogan will be "Devoted to Friends".

Today came the much sadder, though not wholly unexpected, news of the closing of Agrodolce at 241 N. George St. The restaurant's last day of operation is tomorrow (1/16/2010).
