First Friday

After a quick jaunt to New York, we were able to make it back to York in time for First Friday. 

Beaver Street was lined with stands of local vendors. 

Cherry Lane featured an act for children called the "Cat Pajamas." It starred the Turkey Hill Dairy Turkey and a group of musicians. 

Double D's Dogs was there to feed all the hungry singers and dancers.

Brenda Wintermyer was kind enough to open up her studio for a "Hootenanny" of live music.

A band of folkies kept the crowd alive.

Overall, it was a great Friday evening to walk around downtown- the streets were alive with those who have made it their mission to support the city.
