Faces of York- Part Two

A few months ago, we started a series called Faces of York. The concept is simple: we go out on the streets of downtown York and photograph those who live, work, and hang out downtown.

In the first part of the series, we were in the square photographing passersby. This past Tuesday, we set up shop outside of Central Market near Cherry Lane and met a whole bunch of cool folks.

These two ladies work at Central Market- at Mezzogiorno and Simply Soup, respectively. They were just taking a break from the busy market day.

Next we ran into three lovely ladies- Erin L. Stine of Moxie Design and Marketing, Mary Yeaple, perhaps better known as the "Parade Lady," and Janeen Shober of SAA Architects.  They were all stopping in for the wonderful goods the market had to offer.

Who rocks the fedora and jacket better? Mezzo fanatic Wyatt "the mouth" McGuire, or this jolly man taking a stroll?

We met a visitor to York who was lucky enough to come on a market day- he was chaperoning a Baltimore public school who had taken a field trip to come see Food Inc. at the Capitol Theatre.

Thanks to all the great Yorkers who let us snap their pictures. We're already thinking of locations for our 3rd installment of Faces of York!
